Welcome to EMWONLINE! By using my website design and development services, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

EMWONLINE offers website design, SEO, digital marketing, graphic design and technical support. All services are provided on a freelance basis and tailored to each client’s needs.

2. Payment & Fees

  • All services require full or partial payment upfront, as agreed upon in the project proposal and invoicing.
  • Payments are non-refundable once work has commenced.
  • Additional work outside the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

3. Project Timelines & Revisions

  • Estimated project timelines will be provided, but may vary based on complexity.
  • Clients are entitled to 1 round of revisions within the agreed scope.
  • Additional revisions may be charged at an hourly rate.

4. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must provide all necessary content, branding, images and assets in a timely manner.
  • Delays in providing materials may impact project timelines.

5. Intellectual Property & Ownership

  • Upon full payment, clients receive ownership rights to the final website design.
  • EMWONLINE retains the right to showcase completed projects in portfolios and marketing materials.
  • No responsibility or liability will be assumed for any copyright infringement or legal proceedings arising from the use of images, photographs, text content, registered trademarks, logos, or any other copyrighted material supplied by the Client. It is the Client's responsibility to verify entitlement to use any material provided and ensure the necessary copyright permissions and commercial licenses are obtained.

6. Cancellations & Refunds

  • If a project is cancelled before work begins, a partial refund may be issued.
  • No refunds are available once design work has started.
  • Refunds are not available for completed design or consultation work.
  • If you need to cancel a booked service, please notify me at least 48 hours in advance to reschedule or discuss alternative solutions.
  • In cases where work has not yet started, refunds may be considered at my discretion, or the work re-arranged.

7. Limitation of Liability

EMWONLINE is not responsible for third-party software issues, hosting problems, or external service failures affecting the website. Work on your website is strictly on a time and materials basis. Reasonable endeavours will be made to ensure that our services are free from errors. However, we cannot accept responsibility for any losses incurred either directly or indirectly due to any malfunction of our services or errors.

8. Privacy & Confidentiality

All client information is handled with strict confidentiality and will not be shared with third parties. See privacy policy.

9. Arbitration

By using my services, you agree to binding arbitration for any disputes or claims that arise. Arbitration will be conducted by an independent arbitrator, mutually agreed upon, in accordance with the current rules of the UK Arbitration Association. You are responsible for all costs associated with arbitration.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to fulfil obligations due to unforeseen circumstances beyond reasonable control. Examples include (but are not limited to) war, riots, explosions, abnormal weather, acts of God, fires, floods, strikes, lock-outs, government actions or regulations (UK or otherwise), or accidents. In such cases, service may be suspended or cancelled without prejudice to any rights accrued prior to termination.

11. Amendments to Terms

EMWONLINE reserves the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Clients will be notified of significant changes.
